Privacy Policy: de-backup tool
This policy covers de-backup, an internal tool Jillian Software LLC uses to store backups of Detangled Eats development work in Google Drive. It is not used by the public and does not apply to the Detangled Eats app, which will have its own privacy policy.
What it accesses
Only files and folders that de-backup itself creates in the Google Drive of the account that authorizes it (the Google "drive.file" permission). It cannot see, read or change any other files in that Drive.
What it stores
Encrypted backup files. Data is encrypted before it leaves our systems, so the stored files cannot be read without our private key.
What we do not do
We do not sell, share, rent or disclose Google user data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or any purpose other than storing these backups.
Removing access
The account owner can revoke de-backup's access at any time in their Google Account under "Third-party apps and services."
